Beyond design

What’s your favorite song?

The one you keep coming back to.

The one that says it for you.

01 / Refrain
If I am best in the world, I have just started on what's better than that.
On practice and craft

Three things that shape my work

Each one trains a muscle I use in design every day.

01

Singing & music

My favorites move from Bruno Mars and Atif Aslam to Ustad Rashid Khan. Their different voices and traditions remind me how rhythm, phrasing and emotion can shape an entire experience—much like the details in a thoughtful design.

Fitness

I enjoy rope work and weights: ropes keep me quick and coordinated, while weights let me build strength through steady progress. Both reward focus and consistency over quick fixes—the same mindset I bring to improving a design.

Reading books

A few favorites are Atomic Habits, The 5 AM Club and The Obstacle Is the Way. They keep me thinking about small improvements, intentional routines and meeting challenges with a clearer perspective.

Rhythm for the layout. Discipline for the craft. Curiosity for the why.
